Powered by Fastbraces® patented bracket and system design developed by orthodontist Dr. Anthony Viazis of Dallas, Texas, the Fastbraces® Technology uses a unique, triangular shaped brace that typically allows for just one orthodontic wire throughout treatment, thus completing the movement of both crown and root of each tooth at the same time. Historically, braces would move the crown of the tooth the first year and typically the root of the tooth the second year, thus requiring two years of treatment. Now, with the Fastbraces® Technology, the doctor can move the root from the beginning of treatment instead of waiting until the second year of treatment.
