August 2010
Wava, working on her modeling career, knows the importance of a beautiful smile and turned to Fastbraces
® to help her achieve the camera-ready smile she needs.

Tell us briefly about yourself:
Well, all through high school I was a varsity track runner, I competed in sprints, and when college came around I was recruited for a track scholarship to Missouri Valley College. I studied at this school for two years, getting my basics out of the way, and now making my major Meteorology, I’ll be attending University of Oklahoma this coming fall semester, not competing in track, but more concentrated on my modeling career.

Why have you decided to get braces?
It was not necessary for me a few years back, since my modeling was just for fun and my wisdom teeth were coming in, so my mouth would be changing. Now that I’m taking modeling more seriously, and opinion from other modeling agencies, the need for my teeth to be straight was a major necessity, that is if I wanted to get bigger modeling jobs. So now is the time for me to straighten my teeth.

What other orthodontic treatments (if any) did you consider and what made you decide on Fastbraces?

I have not had any other treatments, but I did get some evaluations from other orthodontics. One had told me that I needed so much work done on my teeth, but it would only take 18 months to correct and the price was over $5,000. I needed my teeth fixed fast because of future job opportunities awaiting, and the longer the time with braces the less jobs I get. I went to Fastbraces, and Dr. Viazis said if its just an appearance issue I want to fix, then I would only need braces for 6 months, and the cost was over half! Fastbraces was the perfect option for me for what I needed done.

What are you most nervous about your treatment?

I’m honestly a little nervous about the pain, I’ve had friends who have worn braces for years and they were in so much pain the first few weeks of having them. I’ve read that Fastbraces are gentle, and the pain I’ve heard from others I will not be experiencing, so I only keep my fingers crossed.

What are you looking forward to most about your treatment?
Well of course seeing my smile be different for the first time, and being able to floss my front teeth again, since their so tightly pushed together from crowding.

How will having straight teeth impact your life?
I will definitely feel more confident, especially going into modeling auditions and I will be comfortable showing off my smile instead of trying to cover my mouth.

Anything else you want to share?
My mother has had Fastbraces a few years ago, and her teeth were straight in just a few months it was shocking! And my dad being a Chiropractor, he was very impressed with the results, and this was what made me also feel more comfortable with Fastbraces instead of other brands.
